Supporting Community Tourism in Uganda
The Boomu Women's Group is a member of the Uganda Community Tourism Association (UCOTA). The women of the group raise money for community projects (such as a nursery) through their interactions with visitors to Uganda. As a visitor, you can gain some insight into life in rural Uganda by staying in bandas and going on cooking and community tours.
