South Africa's bees touted as economic lifesavers

It may be widely known as the "killer bee," but to some of South Africa's poor, the African bee is proving to be an economic life-saver.

Domestic sales and exports of an alcoholic beverage made from honey produced by the bees could become a successful business for some communities.

Al Jazeera's Haru Mutasa reports on an innovation coud raise many from South Africa's poorest province out of poverty.
