Hi Carol I totally agree, nothing in the world like freshly picked, home grown food. All the best.

Hi Jeannine, my husband grows a lot of vegetables and nothing tastes better than food you grew yourself! Thanks for the link.

Dear Jeannine, thank you so much for posting your blog on ivili, and for your kind words about the site in your profile. it's such early days but I really hope and believe this could work - what it needs is people like you to do just what you have done. It's with your belief and input that this becomes what I think it can.

One suggestion - if you go back and press 'edit your blog', and rather than putting the long website address in directly into the text as you did, just put the name, and then highlight it and click on the button above the window that looks like a number 8 on its side. Then you can put the link in there and people can click straight through to your site, making them more likely to do so.

Thanks again - I'll be thanking George for inviting you when I see her soon.

Best wishes and hope that as ivili grows you'll really benefit from the network we are trying to create.

Best wishes

Jeremy

Welcome! And don't forget - I think you can also suggest/add groups if any are missing. Hope you're feeling better. G

UK too reliant on imported food? 3 Replies

51% of British food is imported. This means our food supply is not secure (although of course Britain's food supply is nowhere near as vulnerable as that of developing countries). There are also envi…
