I love this - it has cheered me up from a deep gloom about the state of the world. Makes me want to head off into a desert somewhere..far from the madding crowd...and make my own oasis. PERMACULTURE RULES!

And once you've had a look around, start adding blogs about tree Africa. The key here is that this site is for solutions, whatever they might be. So for every solution tree Africa are implementing, blog it, tag it, upload a photo, and off we go. The idea is to combine a social network of likeminded people around the world, generating a shared online magazine of positive, successful projects and ideas, and by sharing knowledge and rsources help each other in our respective countries and fields. It's not a social network like facebook to chat about football and telly or amass as many friends as possible or poke people. But I'm sure you'l understand. Any questions, drop me an email.

Thanks,

Jeremy

51% of British food is imported. This means our food supply is not secure (although of course Britain's food supply is nowhere near as vulnerable as that of developing countries). There are also envi…
